Cutting Red Tape To Save Oregon Towns
In this article, I talk about what’s really holding small towns back: outdated red tape. I’ve seen firsthand how slow permits, confusing zoning laws, and decades, old regulations make it nearly impossible for families and small businesses to grow. I wrote this op-ed to push for common-sense changes, faster approvals, modern codes, and fewer hoops to jump through. My goal is simple: let rural Oregon build again. When we cut the red tape, we open the door to opportunity.
